The Arctic Frontiers conference will be held in Tromsø from May 8th-11th 2022

The conference theme this year is Pathways. The choices the Arctic is facing will be explored when addressing pressing global challenges.

ALSIB Round table 2022

The Alaska-Siberia air route (ALSIB) was an air bridge created during World War II. From the end of 1942 until the Victory over Germany, 8090 fighters, bombers, transport, and training aircraft were delivered along the Alaska-Siberia route, which accounted for about 44% of the total number of aircraft received from the USA and England.

Arctic Indigenous Tent Yamal

Explore Yamal, a volunteer expedition to the Yamal tundra, will take place from 10 to 14 December, bringing together 20 volunteers from the Arctic Council member countries. The event is part of the plan for Russia's chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023.
